Our log splitter valve is regenerative. This means that oil flow from the ram is transferred to the opposite side of the ram piston on the cut stroke. This creates a 2 speed cut option eliminating the need for expensive 2 speed pumps. The function is internal meaning no extra plumbing is required.

When the ram reaches the fully retracted position, the valve automatically kicks out. This means once the split stroke is finished with, you move control lever to return position and the valve does the rest. You get on organising the next cut while the ram returns itself and waits for you to start the next cut.

The body also incorporates its own relief valve.
